Tomato 'Daydream' Heirloom Seeds

If you want a tomato that gets on with it, Tomato ‘Daydream’ is a beauty. It’s an heirloom variety with sweet flavour and low acidity and it’s a vigorous grower that delivers high yields for a long period. Expect large, smooth, deep red fruit,  the kind you actually feel proud slicing up. 

It’s an indeterminate tomato, which means it keeps growing and fruiting as long as conditions are good. It needs staking (or it’ll sprawl and get messy fast). 

Soil prep tip: tomatoes are nitrogen-hungry. Prep your soil with nitrogen-rich pea/broad bean plants as green manure or mix through compost + chook manure about a fortnight before planting.
