Bean 'Windsor Long Pod' Heirloom Seeds

This popular bush bean is the sort of plant that makes you feel like you’ve got your life together. ‘Windsor Long Pod’ produces 15–20cm long, green, flat pods and when you let a few mature you’ll also get those gorgeous long, deep red seeds. 

The trick is to pick the pods young and regularly, that keeps them stringless and encourages the plant to keep flowering (aka: more beans, more often). 

Beans are also little soil-legends: they naturally help improve soil by fixing nitrogen, so they don’t need super-rich soil. Just moderately fertile and free-draining with the pH in the right range.
